Puente Bizkaia · Portugalete

The Puente Bizkaia joins Portugalete and Getxo over the Nervión estuary. It is a transporter bridge from 1893 designed by Alberto de Palacio, the first of its kind in the world, a World Heritage Site since 2006, and it still crosses the estuary every few minutes. Take metro line 2 to Portugalete station.
