Grúa Carola · Bilbao
The Grúa Carola is sixty metres of iron standing by the Bilbao estuary, the last witness of the Euskalduna shipyards. It was built in 1957 and was the most powerful crane in Spain. Today it belongs to the Itsasmuseum and can be seen from much of Abandoibarra. Its name comes from a woman who used to cross the estuary by boat; we tell the story in our article about the crane.
Here you'll find the Carola t-shirt and sweatshirt, and the kids' t-shirt. All of them carry its coordinates, 43°16'01"N · 2°56'50"W, and a QR that opens the exact spot on the map. Designed in Bilbao.
